Monthly Meetings

Meetings are held at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start on the first Saturday of every month at Vine Church Hall, Rich Rd, Ilford. Each meeting usually consists of a speaker and slide show, tea or coffee and biscuits at half time, plant sales, raffle and table show. There is usually a comprehensive library on hand from which members may borrow books.

There is a £2.00 entrance fee which covers the speakers expenses and the half time refreshments.

Branch show

Each year we have a branch show at Ilford. Details from the show secretary.

Table show

Each month we have a table show of Cacti and Succulents.

All classes are open, so members may enter any plants of their choice. Members may enter only one plant per class.
The table show consists of the following 8 classes:

1. Any Cactus over 4 ¼" (11 cm) pot.
2. Any Cactus up to 4 ¼" (11 cm) pot.
3. Any Succulent over 4 ¼" (11 cm) pot.
4. Any Succulent up to 4 ¼" (11 cm) pot.
5. Any Cactus in flower over 4 ¼" (11 cm) pot.
6. Any Cactus in flower up to 4 ¼" (11 cm) pot.
7. Any Succulent in flower over 4 ¼" (11 cm) pot.
8. Any Succulent in flower up to 4 ¼" (11 cm) pot.
